Karl Gustav Jacob Jacobi

INTRESTS-Math, Reading, Science
Religon- Christian
Family- I have two brothers (im the second oldest) and one sister.
My Life- Well my Father is a banker and i am a teacher. I teach Math at Berlin Univeristy and i have small classes that only want to learn about my equation of elliptic equations. Also i have a functional determinant named after me called the Jacobian. I had help while working on the equations m two best friends Liouville and Cauchy.
My Childhood- I was taught school from my Uncle. At the age 12 my Uncle stopped teaching me and told me i needed to go to school. But not any ordinary school a senoir secondary school for advanced kids. My Uncle thought that this would better suit me. After the first year of school i had completed and known as muh as four years worth. This meant i was now eligible for college at the age of 12. The University i wanted to go to was Berlin University, the only problem with this is they only allowed kids over the age of 16. So i waited and went back to my secondary school
My controbutions-I founded the theory of elliptic functions with help from my freinds in college. I was also the first mathematician to apply elliptic function to the number theory, for example, proving the 2 squares and four-square theorems. I also proved similar results for 6 and 8 square. My Jacobi theta functions, were so frequently used they were named in my honor. I proved the functional equation for the theta function. Then i gave new proofs of quadratic recipority, made controbutionf to higher reciprocity laws, and investigated continued fractions and invented Jacobi sums. The Jacobi theta functions, were so frequently used they were named in his honor. I proved the functional equation for the theta function. Then I gave new proofs of quadratic reciprocity, made contributions to higher reciprocity laws, investigate continued fractions and invented Jacobi sums.
Anecdote- His uncle taught him Math and vocabulary only. So he decided that he liked math the most. So he learned that from his uncle and he was the only one his uncle was teaching. Which alowwed him to comprehend it easier. So he the went to secondary school were he completed all for years needed in the first year. Thi inspired him to make a equation and improve the elliptic functions.
